March 2018, and I am reviewing my TENTH Stitch Fix box! I never thought I would have so much fun with these subscription boxes when I got my first fix a few years ago.
What is Stitch Fix? It is essentially a subscription service for clothing with flexible timing.
If you are already familiar with Stitch Fix and their program, skip below to see my review of my March 2018 box . If you are new to this idea or just want to get a little bit more detail, keep reading for the full details.
Stitch Fix is a subscription fashion service for women and men that sends you five items (clothing, jewelry, accessories, handbags or shoes) for you to review in the comfort of your own home, keep the items you like, and send back what you don’t love. They actually just started sending intimates now called “Extras” that you can add on to any “fix”. Cute, right?
I totally understand if you have questions, so let me dive into this in a little bit more detail before we look at my personal “fix”.
How Does Stitch Fix Work?
I do want to note that you choose when to get your subscription boxes. I choose my “fixes” to arrive when I desire a new “fix” and select this option for my program. Any user is able to decide when you want another fix, whether that be every 2-3 weeks, monthly, every 2 months, every 3 months or literally any time you select to have a new fix (like me!). The program is 100% flexible.
Let’s dive in to my March 2018 Stitch Fix (#10)!
When your fix arrives, you get a pretty box with five items wrapped in paper. You also get a note from your stylist, style cards for each item, and an invoice for the full purchase. The style card shows how you can wear each item and gives you ideas instead of leaving it up to you to pick something you own at random.
So here is what I received this round…
I thought this shirt was cute immediately, but when I started to think about the limited number of WHITE shirts I have, I loved it even more. This shirt is the perfect mix between casual tank you can wear with jeans and top to go with a pair of dress pants and dress jacket for a classy business meeting. I love the fit and love the pattern. My two concerns are price [I am not a spender for clothes in general so a tank for $58 would be pricey for me] and the fact that it is a tiny bit see-through. You could possibly get away with a white bra, but might need a cami.
I have said before that every pair of jeans I get from Stitch FIx is a perfect fit. No difference here. Perfect amount of stretch and perfect fit! These are a bit similar to a pair of jeans I already own, but I might still keep them!
This. Kimono. So, when I asked for some things outside of my comfort zone this time, my stylist knew this would be one of them. She even said it in her note to me. However, I kind of love it. My sisters wear kimonos and look adorable. I kind of feel like I can pull off their cuteness vibe with this one! My stylist said it would be great for pairing with the Ezide top and Vigosss jeans as well as the Privett dress, so I tried it both ways. I could also totally see this with a cute summer swim suit on the beach!
Does everyone love a dress with POCKETS or is it just me? Just me? It cannot be!!! This dress is a lovely plum color, has pockets, a forgiving shape [ie. not clingy to the winter tummy chub], and the back is too cute. There is one problem with the back and that is that the bottom opening shows my bra. What do you wear with a low back dress when you are a mom that CANNOT go without a bra?I would love some recommendations in the comments!!
You guys, this dress is 1000 times flattering! I loved it before I tried it on based on the fun pattern and shape but holy moly. It slides in at the shoulders, does not show too much cleavage but just a bit, curves in at the waist, and is forgiving at the tummy. Plus! She sent a petite, so it is not too long! I can wear it with heels OR sandals! Win all around! I adore this dress!
Well, there you have it! I have to make my choices by Monday and am just not sure! I would love to keep it ALL! If you were on a budget, what would YOU keep?!?!?

I so want to keep it all!!! 😬😀
Maxi dress is great: plum is ok but old navy also has t shirt dresses for cheap. Love the kimono too.

Honestly you should keep it all. You look great in all of those pieces !
Against better judgement to my budget, I kept it ALL! I actually wore the maxi dress to an event I had that very weekend and loved it!
Glad you kept it all! 🙂 That maxi dress is adorable on you!
Me too! I just love it!
The white top is my favorite! I’m a huge dress fan with Spring & Summer on the horizon, I’d get the Maxi Dress.
Loved your box!!!
I loved it too! I definitely needed a white shirt and ALWAYS love dresses!
The kimono is so pretty! Really great colors for you! What a fun fix!
Thank you! I feel so cute in the kimono, and it is unlike anything I own!
Hello girls! It is always difficult to find a stylist that sends you the right stuff. Im a very short girl and have trouble finding out what suits and fits me. The best service for me so far has been Ropeo, they offer a similar dynamic but their stylist really listen to your preferences and they send amazing clothes, I´ve loved it and truly recommend it! This is the link in case you want to try it!
